Glue line operators are required to assemble foam and fiber parts with an air assisted spray gun. This job requires the operator to work constantly with their hands. This job also requires the operator to lift weights that may exceed 30 lbs.
The adhesive that is used to assemble the parts is a solvent-based adhesive. Gluers are responsible for notifying their supervisor of any necessary equipment maintenance. Any other duties that are not mentioned in this job description that are necessary to insure that the function of a gluer is complete are also the responsibility of the gluer.
